History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
