Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
