History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thervan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Uthemar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
