However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
