History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
