Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lucan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
