History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naeris is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
