History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. After coming to the age of reason, Berrian took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the north
