History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Expand his business; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
