Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Immeral enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Immeral was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mason and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Barkeep profession.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
