Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
