History: Gifted from a young age, Rolen studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
