History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Rael was taken on many hunting expeditions. Rael was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rael decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Efferil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
