History: Naeris was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Naeris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Naeris was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barber and was forced into it by his family; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
