History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Bounty Hunter, Erdan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aelar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
