Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
