History: Aramil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Spy kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
