History: Rael lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
