A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a black Stetson hat and black clothes. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Theren took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Tharivol reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
