History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Carrie was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
