History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Thervan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thervan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Priest but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
