Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, marred by beers. His hair is long and silver with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Efferil grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has wavy auburn hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fisher. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fisher responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is typically in his Courier uniform. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Azaki is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Lucan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'1". He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull green iron scale mail, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longsword. His hair is short and blonde. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Riardon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
