Personality: Paelias is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
