Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Varis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
