History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
