His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the west to a Navigator, Aerdeth learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Vanuath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
