The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Theren is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Theren was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the west

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
