To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
