Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Korfel was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Priest. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well
