History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ivellios was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Detective. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

History: Gifted from a young age, Berrian studied abroad. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to settle down with his crush
