History: He was born in the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Laucian will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the east

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Soveliss reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
