History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Efferil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. One day when Ivellios was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Ivellios was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Being a Ploughman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Soveliss was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Aelar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Aelar was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
