History: Gifted from a young age, Uthemar studied abroad. His first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a mercenary and was forced into it by his family

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
