History: Theriatis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and many dire rats want him driven away
