History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Aelar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
