Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Dayereth was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He is a Painter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed.
