The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Azaki was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Hunter. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
