Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by giants. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Naeris was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Adran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
