History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and to unite with his sister
