Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Armorer. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Varis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
