History: Born in the east to a Server, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Azaki began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Azaki was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
