When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 72. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. One day when Carrie was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Carrie was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raer lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother
