He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He is lean but muscular and prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has shaved his head bald. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born in the west to a Banker, Caeldrim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Caeldrim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Standing 5'4", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with pastel colored cloaks and clothing. His hair is red and curly. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Himo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Himo was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
