History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dyer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He struck the Dyer job and began his own company from there.
