His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Erdan was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
