In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tharivol alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
