Through the years after Vanuath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Vanuath's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter
