Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a Barber, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in falchion use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Efferil reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Berrian's homeland. Berrian decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
