History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Azaki never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Efferil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. He wears his blonde hair down. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Azaki alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Koeth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
