History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Knight again.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things
